Boyd Ramsey has been an active participant in the geosynthetics industry for over three decades. He now operates a sole-proprietor consultancy and spent much of his career with GSE Environmental (now Solmax) in a variety of global assignments. He has served in chairmanships and leadership positions with IGS, GMA, the Geosynthetic Institute and in other industry trade and technical groups including the IGS Technical Committee for Barrier systems and the IGS Sustainability Committee.
